Austrian artist. Works with the mediums of painting, graphic arts and sculpture.

Biography

Born in 1945 in Steinschönau, Bohemia – today Kamenický Šenov, Czech Republic. Studied Textile Design in Vienna, diploma in 1963. Then moved to Augsburg. 1966 first exhibitions with works in the style of the “Vienna Fantastic Realism” in Augsburg and Munich, Germany. In 1989 moved back to Vienna, Austria. Since 1990 member of the Künstlerhaus Vienna, Austria. 2003 member of the jury of the fourth International Exhibition of Graphic Art Cairo, Egypt. 2005 honorary member of the Künstlerhaus. 2006 elected president of the Künstlerhaus Vienna. 2009 member of the jury of the International Print Triennial Krakow, Poland. Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts, Moscow, Russia. 2010 re-election as president of the Künstlerhaus Vienna. 2013 election as president of the association Bildrecht, Vienna.
